Pro-Adjuster

The Pro-Adjuster machine is an instrument that uses a sophisticated computer analysis and mechanical stimulation to pinpoint problem areas and release pressure on nerves so they can function properly. This device allows the doctor to release the abnormal joint motion without high velocity force.

Case Study:

White, 53 year old female with history of cervical fracture with surgical implant fixing C5 to C6 (titanium plate and screws) suffering from neck pain that radiates into the posterior skull, bilateral arm pain and weakness in both hands. Video Fluoroscopic radiographic study reveals adnormal motion between Occiput and C1 in forward flexion and C4-5 motion in extension. Digital palpation of the cervical spine exhibits deep and superficial myospasm surrounding the area of C5-6 as well as the upper sub-occipital region predominating on the right. There is also increased resistance to stretch within the right levator scapulae muscle and patient notes there is considerable pain stemming from there as well. Treatment consisted of five spinal adjustments over five days wiht the Pro-adjuster chiropractic device to the 4th cervical segments while extending the spine over the stylus. Myofascial release technique was also applied to the areas of note. The patient reported a 60% reduction or more in head and neck pain as well as improved strength in the hands and arms.
